The printing ministry started with one machine donated by Pastor Paul Forsyth who is now with the Lord.  Julio Marquina, Missionary to Venezuela, was in charge of that ministry from the beginning.  The “Macedonia Vision” was the first magazine printed on the machine, and from there the magazine “Go” was printed and several thousands of gospel tracts, posters, and Bible study materials.

When Julio Marquina left for Venezuela as a missionary,  brother Luis Navarro took over the ministry.  He was a Bible college student at the time.  It was under his care that the printing ministry was moved to Peru Baptist College when we purchased the new land.

Luis is now training Bible College students in the printing ministry and continues to print materials to be a help to our churches all over Peru.

Please be praying for Luis and his family.  He and his wife have been married for 12 years and they have three sons.  Along with being in charge of the printing ministry, he also teaches three courses in our Bible College and also co-pastors Hunter Baptist Church.  The Lord is using him in a tremendous way.

Several years ago while working in Peru, our team of missionaries started a radio broadcast called World Evangelism Today.  The host was Missionary Austin Gardner.  This week we have officially started back with the program but it is now with Pastor Austin Gardner.  The format has changed quite a bit but the same goal still exist- getting the gospel to the world in our generation.

We traveled about 3 1/2 hours south yesterday afternoon to Faith Baptist Church in Lyons, GA.  I preached for Pastor Andy Williams and then we enjoyed some fellowship time at Wendy’s after the service.  Pastor Williams has been at Faith for 11 years now.

This past Sunday morning I was able to preach the morning service at Calvary Baptist Church in Tallassee, AL.  Amy, the kids, and I had a great time meeting Pastor Voss and his people.  We started off their missions month and pray we were a blessing to the church.

On Wednesday night we drove down to Callahan, Florida to take part in the service at Liberty Baptist Church in Callahan, FL.  We were able to meet Pastor Robertson and his family.  He invited Amy, Luke, and I to his house after the service where we had a great time getting to know them better and also getting to listen to their family play some blue grass music.
